DirectX 12 - The Future of gaming?

An early build of DirectX 12 has been tested and the results are really promising.

The new DirectX version is supposed to increase gaming performance by 400% by enabling the CPU to utilize more GPU cores. Does that make sense? Lets translate:

With DirectX 9 one core of your Processor (CPU) was able to communicate with just one core of your Graphics Card (GPU).

This has been updated later on in DirectX 10 but it was still a big bottleneck for the developers.
Now DirectX 12 is supposed to make the huge leap from one to ALL of the GPU Processors.

So what does that actually mean really? Will Crysis run from 20FPS to 200 just by updating to the latest DirectX version?

Welll.....No. Most of all because crysis is not a Directx12 game. But seriously now first you will have to upgrade to Windows 10, as Directx12 is coming exclusively with it, then buy a Directx12 ready GPU and then it all depends on the game developers how long it will take to adopt the new technology and get Directx12 games out.
